Our school site also does our own survey specifically looking at the needs of our students.  We encourage you to do both the district and site based surveys.  The district survey takes 10 minutes and is scaled with multiple choice answers. However, our school site survey is open ended allowing you to give us input on how we are doing and what you would like to see more of.  Our school site survey can take 10 minutes (or longer if you have more you'd like to share). We will also have meetings to discuss this too. However, if you can't make it, please do this survey instead.

Your opinion matters!

Greetings!  The Hacienda La Puente Unified School District is surveying parents, staff members, and community members to learn more about your perceptions and experiences with HLPUSD. Specifically, we hope to gather feedback on the district’s Local Control and Accountability (LCAP) goals, such as current performance, areas for improvement, and future goals.

We hope that you will participate in this survey. Your feedback is essential, and will help HLPUSD improve programs and services to students, families, employees, and community members.

HLPUSD has partnered with Hanover Research to administer and analyze this survey. Hanover Research is an independent market research firm based in Washington, D.C., and is in no way affiliated with any other entity or organization. Your responses are completely anonymous and will be kept strictly confidential, so please be as open and honest as possible. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Conor Kelly (ckelly@hanoversurveys.com) at Hanover Research.

We appreciate your participation! Please click the link below to begin.

Coming soon to Los Altos -

CBEDS Day-Oct. 4 -We need 100% attendance. All kids will get a treat that day. It is also our Egg Drop Day. Parents are welcomed to attend the Egg Drop on Oct. 4 starting at 8:45 a.m. Our funding is based on attendance on Oct. 4. Be here to see our special guest and the egg drop.

Egg Drops contraptions are due Oct. 3 as we need to test them out and all student participating will receive a mini lesson by our special visitor-Coach Sam.  Contraptions must have an Egg inside it already (not hard boiled) that is in a baggie.   As part of our STEAM challenge, we are asking if kids can also decorate their eggs like a basketball or their favorite player as we are going to send videos in to the NBA.

Read to Achieve with the LA Clippers starts on the 2nd - See attachment. Forms are due by November. 6

The Kindness Challenge presented by our Student Ambassadors starts on the 2nd too - Kids can do as little or as many of the tasks. Bring back your form on Oct. 25 and wear Orange as part of Unity Day - A Day to stand up against bullying and support inclusion.
